08/30/21 - Public Housing Waitlist Opening

Effective Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 8:00 am CDT the Panama City Housing Authority will be opening the Public Housing waitlist for 75 new applicants that qualify for 3- or 4-bedroom units. Applications will be accepted online at apps.panamacityhousing.org

PHA Policy:

  • The PHA will offer a preference to any elderly or disabled family.
  • The PHA will offer a residency preference for those applicants residing in Bay County Florida
  • The PHA will offer a residency preference to residents of the Public Housing Program administered by the PHA; who are displaced through no fault of their own due to modernization, rehabilitation, demolition/disposition, repositioning, relocation, or loss of funding. Residents must be in good standing with the PHA.
  • The PHA will assign one bedroom for each two persons within the household for the purpose of unit size qualification.
