Oakland Garden Apts. Improvements Project RFP 2021-02

The Panama City Housing Authority (PCHA), Florida; Invitation to Bid RFP #2021-02; Oakland Garden Apts. Improvements Project 2021:

  • Scope of Work - The Project Site is 1918 Mack Lewis Drive, Panama City, FL32401 is approx. 8.8-acres and contains 26-buildings. The Work of this contract generally involves:
  • Existing Buildings Related Work to generally include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
    1. Base-Bid: Re-Roof all existing buildings complete (approx. 54,870-SF) with new decking, fascia and soffits, as shown and as specified;
    2. Additive Alternate Bid: Replace all existing damaged vinyl patio fencing as shown;
    3. Repair and replace existing and missing decorative fiberglass columns, railings and brackets at front porches where shown;
    4. Other minor items as shown in the Contract Documents.
    5. The work in this contract will not include the work of a sustainable rating system.
    6. Project bonds and insurance is required.
  • Documents - Project Manual and Specifications, and Drawings will be available October 11, 2021 for no cost digital download or for the cost of printing if a hard copy is requested, or may be viewed at a pre-arranged time at:

    Project Bid Scope Documents may be obtained in digital PDF format free from the PCHA Procurement website Found Here. Interested parties are encouraged to register with the Architect for direct downloads and automatic notifications.
  • Bid Schedule - Sealed Bids will be due October 28, 2021 no later than 2:00 pm and will be opened in the PANAMA CITY HOUSING AUTHORITY Conference Room at 2315 Ruth Hentz Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32405.
  • Sealed Bids - may be mailed or delivered to Panama City Housing Authority at 2315 Ruth Hentz Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32405, Attention: Mr. Justin Boyce, Project Manager, and must be received by 2:00 pm on OCtober 28, 2021. Oral, telegraphic or electronic proposals will not be considered.
  • Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference - A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for October 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm local time (CT) at the Project Site. Bidders shall submit to the Architect a written list of questions and requests for clarification no later than October 20, 2021.
